Diagnostics tab - Edit Cell dialog

Select parameters for the diagnostics analyses done on the active cell.

Prior Year Comparison

Select the settings for a prior year comparison. These settings are used when running a compare function under the tools option and are only relevant when comparing to a prior year file.

Include in Comparison

If selected, the active cell will be included in the comparison.

Options

Select the cell to which the active cell is to be compared.

Compare with Same Cell

If selected, the active cell will be compared with the cell having the same cell number in the prior year file.

Compare with

If selected, enter the specific cell number in the box or select the calculation editor to enter a calculation. Specifically this option would be used for functions with "YR" and "YR1" formulas, although calculations such as (rc(-1)) could be used to compare the cell to the previous column.

Diagnostics

Select the settings for the diagnostics as used in the Form Mode.

Flag Value Changes

Places a red underline around cells in the Form Mode that the user modifies or that are updated by adjustments. In the Design Mode this feature automatically selects the Has Changed box when modifications are made.

Value Has Changed

Indicates that the value of the cell has changed.
