Radio Button Tab - Edit Cell Dialog

Select options to control the appearance of the radio button cell.

Appearance

Select options to control the appearance of the radio button cell.

Radio Button

To create a standard radio button, click Radio button.

3-D Radio Button

Select this check box to display a three-dimensional radio button.

Plus/ Minus Button

To create a radio button that toggles between a plus (+) and a minus (-) button, click Plus/ Minus button.

Folders

To create a folder that opens and closes as the user clicks on it, click Folders.

Built in Images

To create a custom appearance to the radio button from the images available in CaseView, select Built in Images.

Specify the appearance of the radio button as it is selected (Value 1) and cleared (Value 0) by the user. Radio button can be designed to change dynamically as the user clicks them.

Value 0 (Unchecked)

Select the appearance of the radio button when it is cleared.

Value 1 (Checked)

Select the appearance of the radio button when it is selected.

User-defined Images

To create a customized radio button using an image not included in CaseView or using dynamic behavior as the radio button is moused over or clicked, click this radio button and set the features below.

Button Style

If you have your operating system configured to use a "theme" and in the General cell options you have selected to "Use Theme", set the type of button appearance to use for your radio buttons.

Windows button

Select to use a 3-D appearance as the one used for buttons in dialogs such as "OK" or "Help".

Toolbar button

Select to use a flat appearance as is used for buttons on toolbars.

Image Calculation

Enter the label of an image to use, including quotes. The label is used to identify images in the Image Manager.

Alternately, you may enter a calculation that evaluates to a valid image label. Click the images\extdesc_shg.gif button to access the Calculation Editor to compose the function.

State Calculation

Use this field to set the behavior of the check box. Click the images\extdesc_shg.gif button to access the Calculation Editor to compose the function.

-1 or blank

Makes the cell behave like normal.

0

Disabled (greyed out)

1

Enabled (regular radio button)

Press (pressed down)

Hot tracked

Appears hot tracked and pressed down

Hot tracked means that the button changes appearance as the mouse pointer moves on and off of the button. When state calculation is set, the appearance does not change as the mouse moves on and off from it (except when Blank or -1 values are set).

Images

Click to open the Image Manager where external images can be imported for use in CaseView and a list of the current available images can be viewed.
