Tag tab - Paragraph dialog

Use this command to tag a paragraph with the intention of including this paragraph as a reference in the table of contents and/ or as a bookmark.

Paragraph tag

Type a description for the paragraph tag. This tag will be used when creating a table of contents reference and/ or as a bookmark.

Paragraph display tag

If desired, type in a description to be used in the Document Map in Form Mode or as a bookmark in exported PDF files. This function is useful for creating Paragraph Tags that serve a functional purpose in Design Mode and more intuitive or descriptive Paragraph Display Tags for areas seen by the end user.

Paragraph tag level

When using the Document Map feature to view the areas of the document and quickly navigate between them, the paragraph tag level option allows the listing to be grouped in a collapsible hierarchy. Note: this option will not affect bookmark lists in Form Mode.

Include in bookmarks

When this check box is selected, the paragraph tag is included in the bookmark list. If you include the tag as a bookmark, you can jump to this line in the document by using the Goto bookmark command.

You can use paragraph tags to cross-reference page numbers to other areas of the document such as a table of contents.
