Identifier

Enter a new identifier for the table. Table identifiers may be alphanumeric and up to 3 characters long. The table identifier portion of each cell number will be updated.

Table indent

Input amount to indent the column from the left margin. The default is 0. The indent shifts the entire table to the right the indicated amount.

Note: Table indents can be modified only in Form Mode with editing enabled if the user has table formatting permissions.

Columns may be resized in Form Mode

Select this to allow columns to be resized manually in Form Mode. If unselected, column size can be adjusted only in Design Mode.

Table properties always modifiable in Enable Editing mode

By default, this option is enabled if the table is created in Form Mode with Editing and disabled if the table is created in Design Mode. The intention is to allow staff to modify or delete tables they create themselves in Form Mode with Editing, without granting the blanket Table permissions that would allow them to modify all tables.

Enable wide-table printing

Select to allow tables wider than the printable page area to be created in the document. Tables can be up to 208 columns wide. This features permits the table to be printed over one or more pages, or alternatively, as separate tables under each other. The method of printing is set in the Wide Table printing options. See Formatting Wide Tables for details.

Include table footer

Select to attach an existing footer to the table in the body of the document. For more about creating a footer, see Creating or Modifying a Header or Footer. Table footers cannot be attached to tables in headers, footers or carry forward headers/footers. Footers containing tables themselves cannot be used for captions.

To specify a table footer, you must have permissions to change table formatting.

Notes

For wide tables that have been set to wrap, the caption appears under each block of the table. For wide tables printing horizontally, the caption appears under the first instance of the bottom left hand square of the table.
Table captions can be manually indented to align with the indented contents of a table.

Make table page width. Add extra space to column

Select this to set the table to use the page's full width. Then specify the column to be increased by the extra space.
