Open Custom Dictionary command - Dictionaries dialog

Use this command to open an existing dictionary. CaseView supports open source dictionaries that have a .dic file extension. This enables you to add any dictionaries that you require to provide spell checking within CaseView.

Look in

Select the drive and folder in which the Custom dictionary you want to load is stored.

A listing of the existing Custom dictionary files in the selected folder appears below. The files shown are restricted to those of the file format specified in the Files of type box.

File Name

Select or type the name of the Custom dictionary you want to load. This box lists files with the file name extension selected in the List Files of Type box.

Files of type

Select the type of file you want to see in the File Name list. Use the drop-down list to select a different file format. As you select different formats the files shown in the folder listing will change.

Custom dictionary files (*.DIC)

Lists all Custom dictionary files in the current directory.

All Files (*.*)

If selected, the folder listing displays all files in the current folder. Use this selection to view other file formats available.
