Changing the Format of a Style by Using the Style Sheet Command

  1. On the Home tab, in the Styles group, click to open the Style dialog.

  2. In the Style box, select the style you want to modify.
  3. Click Modify.
  4. Using the Format Style dialog box options, modify the formats of the style.

Tip: Under Description, you can view a summary of the attributes attached to the style listed in the Style box.

  5. Click OK.

  6. Click Apply Styles to apply the modified style to the document. All paragraphs with that style name will be affected.
  7. Repeat steps 2 through 4 to modify additional styles.

Note

  • All modifications are saved with the document when you click the File tab and click Save. When you re-enter the CaseView document, the Ready-to-Use style sheet and any additional modifications are still available for use in formatting your document. These modified styles are not available to other CaseView documents. To make this modified style sheet accessible to all CaseView documents, you must save the styles as a style sheet. How?

  • To apply all the styles that had been modified at one time, hold Shift and click Apply Styles.
