FV Function

The FV function calculates the future value factor that you can use to determine the future worth of an investment.

Syntax

FV(number of periods,rate of interest)

Where rate of interest is expressed as a percentage and the number of periods can be monthly or yearly.

Example

FV(5,8)

Returns the value of $1 five years from now at a rate of interest of 8%.
