Save to File command - Configure Browses dialog

Saves the current settings as a Browse Definition file. The Windows Save file dialog appears.

Save in

Select the drive and folder where you want to store the Browse file.

A listing of the existing Browse files in the selected folder appears below. The files shown are restricted to those of the file format specified in the Save as type box.

File Name

To save a Browse file with a new name, type a new file name.

To save a Browse file with an existing file name, select the name in the list or type the current name. When you click the OK button, CaseView asks you if you want to overwrite the existing Browse file.

Save as type

By default, CaseView chooses to save the new Browse file in a Browse file format (*.bdf extension). Use the drop-down list to select a different file format for your Browse file.

Browse files (*.bdf)

If selected, the file will be saved as a Browse Definition file with a .bdf extension.

All Files (*.*)

If selected, the folder listing displays all files in the current folder. Use this selection to view other file formats available or to overwrite a file of a different type with the new Browse file.
