Centering Page Contents Vertically

Centered text includes any headers and footers on the page as well as carry-forward sections. Extra pages that are added for wide tables will have their headers and footers in the same position as they appear on the page where the table appears first.

  1. On the File tab, click Print, and then click Page Setup.

  2. Under Scope, select where the centering should apply, the whole document, just the current page or from where you have the cursor on.
  3. Under Paper Control, select the Portrait or Landscape option.

  4. In the Size list, select the paper size you want to print on.

  5. In the Source list, select the source of the paper from the printer.

  6. Check the margins to make sure they are appropriate for centering the page contents.
  7. Select the Center page vertically option.
  8. Click OK.
