Setting the Paper Size, Orientation, and Other Options

When you create a new document and begin typing, CaseView sets default page settings based on the printer specified in windows. You can specify the page settings at the initial stages of document creation or at a later point as the content of the document takes shape.

Elements of page setup including paper size and source may vary depending on the capability of your printer. The paper source refers to the location on the printer that supplies paper. CaseView sets margins in relation to the paper size you use. CaseView also has two page orientations that control the way text appears on a page: portrait (vertical) or landscape (horizontal).

You can change the page settings for the entire document or on a per page basis.

Changing settings for the entire document

  1. On the File tab, click Print, and then click Page Setup.

  2. Under Scope, select the Whole Document option.
  3. Under Paper Control, select the Portrait or Landscape option.

  4. In the Size list, select the paper size you want to print on.

  5. In the Source list, select the source of the paper from the printer.

  6. Click OK.
