Copying a Cell Group File to Another CaseView Document

Like style sheets, cell groups can also be saved in their own special format files called Cell Group Files. CaseView stores cell groups with the document. To use cell groups in other CaseView documents, they must first be saved as a cell group file and then attached to the document. By default, CaseView places any cell group files you create in a folder called "Groups" in the program directory.

  1. Open the CaseView document you want to attach a cell group file to.
  2. On the Document tab, click Cell Groups.

  3. Click Load.
  4. Type or select the name of the cell group file you want to open, and then click Open.
  5. Click OK.

Note:If the Cell Group File being loaded conflicts with existing Cell Groups, the Cell Group being loaded takes precedence.
